When a place has a story, it stays in the memory for ever

The work began in 1973: the villa originally belonged to Mrs Teresa Rossi, Countess Filangieri.

When the estate was divided, the villa went to one of her sons, who had married Miss Olimpia De Donat, later widowed. Her husband had given Monsignor Muller a piece of land with a very run-down farm building which, suitably adapted, was used for apostolic work.

Monsignor Muller later decided to entrust the whole property to the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, naming it, with a clear reference to the Gospel, “Villa Tiberiade”.
